Sharia Advisory Board (SAB) held its inaugural meeting on the 4th of July 2012. The Sharia Advisory Board is an important part of the governance structure and its role is to ensure the integrity of all Islamic financial transactions as well as the related processes and procedures. The SAB is independent from ADF and opines on the compliance with the principles of Sharia for all Islamic lending.
Their independence and impartial advice on all Sharia related matters, as well as their approval of ADF’s Islamic financial structures provides additional assurance to clients.
Dr. Khuwaja Muhammad Al-Esami
Dr. Khuwaja Muhammad Al-Esami graduated from International Islamic University and bearing LLM degree, Islamabad, Pakistan. He further got the Ph D degree the mentioned University and have Narrow Specialization in Islamic Finance. Dr. Khuwaja Muhammad Al-Esami is currently working with Ministry of Education as Advisor to Deputy Minister of Technical & Vocational Training. A part from it he is teaching Islamic Law in Kabul University and some other Private Universities.
Mr. Faqirullah Attaye
Mr. Faqirullah Attaye received his education from Kuwaja Abdullah Ansawari Islamic School, Iran (for Afghan Refugees). Mr. Attayee got further education from Institute of Sharia, Peshawar, Pakistan in Islamic Studies. He further got Bachelor Degree from Al-Azhar University Egypt in Islamic Studies and Islamic History. Mr. Attaye is currently working with Directorate of Hajj and Islamic Affairs, Herat province.
Mr. Labib is bearing LLM (M.Phil) degree from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan in Islamic Commercial Law, He also have LLB and Bachelor degree from same university. Mr. Labib is currently professor in International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, he teaching Islamic Banking and Finance.
